Electrical Engineer

For our client in Kristiansand, Norway we are looking for an electrical engineer who will contribute to the development of advanced crane and lifting equipment. In this role, you will work closely with skilled engineers in electrical, instrumentation and engineering. You will have the opportunity to work with world-leading products in offshore, pipe handling and wave-compensating cranes, as well as specially adapted winches for rigs and boats. The client is at the forefront with cutting-edge technology in motion compensation and developer remote-controlled and autonomous lifting systems.

Job Description
Design and develop electric power/electrical and instrumentation for cranes and lifting devices
Preparation of the necessary documentation within the discipline
Assist with technical support in connection with testing
Develop solutions for modernizing equipment in operation

Qualifications
Higher education, either from a technical college or from the university in electrical/instrumentation.
Experience from electrical engineering in offshore or maritime industries is desirable.
Engineering tools: Experience in using tools such as Eplan and/or AutoCad will be an advantage.
Good written and oral knowledge of Norwegian and English
Generally good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
